First, set aside time in your schedule or on your normal day off, much as you would if you were traveling to CE programs. Second, prepare by getting your operatory set up with all the needed equipment. This is part of the learning process for your assistant. Third, diligently do all of the steps in the surgical techniques you will learn in the videos. You will see true progress in your skill development by having watched the videos and performed the procedures. Include your team, especially assistants, in the process to help facilitate an easier implementation to your practice. The more they understand it the more confidence they will have in recommending implants and performing the procedures flawlessly with you.
